Hero’s Shade

I think about the Hero’s Shade a lot…how he’s the Hero of Time who died lamenting that he was never remembered as a hero, and to ease his regrets, he shows up as a ghost in Twilight Princess to teach TP Link 

OOT/MM Link continues to be the most tragic Link to me…but I love that he got to interact with TP Link, someone who understands the struggle, so he can rest easy knowing that he’s not alone (I’m not crying you’re crying)

I imagine totk link doesn’t enjoy finding all these green tunics lmao (but it’s one of my fav things to do in totk!!) I love finding the pieces of each hero and how the location/environment references that game/person (e.g. all the wind waker pieces)

(minor spoiler?) ngl I really expected a piece of oot in the forest/grove of time, or under the temple of time, or the lost woods, but,,,, no??? why?!???

I think totk link can be serious but he’s v silly and my headcanon is that he’s not v good with sentimentality (he’s a man of action!), so here he is acting like a lil bro: “stop being sad” at oot link (while tp link is Middle Child energy)

lmao Time stopping every five seconds to reminisce and be sentimental (same) …don’t worry, Wild/Tears will be more present in the coming parts >:)
